5 Reasons Why You Should Attend the Fountain Valley Mayor’s Breakfast

It’s a far cry from the black-tie Captain’s Ball that my brother is attending tonight. However, the Fountain Valley Mayor’s Breakfast does have its benefits:
1. It has food. Whenever you visit your mother, she says you’re getting too skinny. She’ll be happy you’re eating food that nourishes you.
2. You haven’t had breakfast yet. If you’re like most American’s you skip breakfast on the way to work or school. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Start the day right.
3. You just opened an insurance office, dentist’s office, or are trying to get more gigs for your music group/band. Go network. You need the business leads.
4. You will meet pleasant and interesting people. At one of the last networking events I attended, I met the owner of a local bakery, Bubba Sweets. She used to be a dentist and quit so that she could follow her passion! It’s great to meet people that not only love what they do, but are good at it as well.
5. Keep local dollars local. Statistics show that the money that is poured into local businesses and mom-and-pop shops will stay in the local community far longer. Those local businesses hire local contractor, sign makers, drivers etc. This keeps those other local businesses afloat. Furthermore the community parks, schools, and police benefit through tax revenue raised in each transaction.

So come out to the Mayor’s Breakfast. It’s a few bucks for admission. No reservation is needed. See you there!
