The Stars Must Be Crazy!

The Stars must be Crazy!

Why? Why do they do this? Why do Stars over Fountain Valley (and all of Southern California) put on such a fabulous show…and then schedule it for the unholy hours between “moonset” and the sunrise?  Who can wake up so early?

If you are an insomniac, an astronomy enthusiast or just plain crazy, then you should take a stroll to a dark area and look up at the stars tonight for the Leonid Meteor Shower at about 2:30-4:30 AM.  I know.  It’s crazy. The Stars must be crazy over Fountain Valley tonight.  They’ll look insanely cool though!

Dress warmly. Bring a thermos of hot cocoa or coffee.  Then enjoy a fun (or romantic) display of stars flying across the night sky above.

However, I would NOT recommend walking into the middle of Mile Square Park. In the last few days the fog has been so thick, visibility was really bad.  I think I could only see 10-15 feet in front of me.  This is not the safest of situations in a dark park, so go in a group somewhere.

Until next time, stay classy, Fountain Valley!
